Choose The Right Class
Crystal of Atlan runs on a Class system in which players can choose from. As soon as the game starts, you get to pick from a total of five classes, and the best thing about this is that players get to try out some of the classes during the tutorial/prologue sequence of the game. This will give players an idea of what the gameplay is like for each class and which one they would prefer to choose in the future.
Each class is extremely diverse in playstyle, aesthetics, and movement. They also branch out into two subclasses, so it’s important to choose a class that you feel comfortable playing. Here are all the classes and what they entail:
- Swordsman – This class incorporates strength and agility, so you’ll be focusing more on close-range combat if you choose this. This class excels at counter-attacks as well.
- Musketeer – If you like using guns in battle, then this class is for you. It’s the perfect class for long-ranged combat with agile skills.
- Magister – This class specializes in magic and powerful spells to subdue enemies. It also excels in support combat with buffs and heals.
- Puppeteer – The Puppeteer class is quite explosive as it involves controlling a magical puppet to deal with explosive attacks. It’s great for long-range combat scenarios.
- Fighter – The Fighter class specializes in close combat, chain combos, and agile movements. It focuses on using your body as a weapon, so it’s great for solo missions.
Continuously Upgrade Your Skills
Once you get settled into the game, the tutorial will automatically take you to the Skill screen, where you’ll use points to level them up. It’s wise to continuously upgrade your skills so that you’ll be ready for any fight or dungeon raid. The game will recommend which skills to level up, and that’s based on which class you pick. Once you change to a different class, you’ll be recommended to upgrade to that.
However, keep in mind not to upgrade every single skill you have. You don’t want to unnecessarily waste your skill points, so it’s always better to read the skill descriptions and see which one will give you a better damage output after the upgrade.
Progress Through Adventure Mode
The Adventure Mode is basically your primary source of the story in Crystal of Atlan. It’s also where you can earn resources such as money and materials to upgrade your characters and their skills. Each chapter will take you through the plot of the game and also a variety of dungeons where you can test out your skills. This is a great opportunity to get a feel for the game and how everything works, but make sure that your character is always leveled up before attempting higher-tier chapters.
Don’t Forget To Complete Your Daily Tasks
On every server reset, players will receive a variety of tasks to complete before the day ends. It’s quite crucial to complete it as it’s a huge opportunity to obtain resources and boost your character. Be consistent in regularly visiting the dungeons so that you can obtain the necessary material needed to craft gear for your character.
