Echo Conchs are a series of optional quests in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. They involve finding Conchs – often in hidden or out-of-the-way locations around Friendship Island – and giving them to the right character as a gift. Gifting an Echo Conch will give you the ability to craft a decorative version of it as a Furniture item. Each Decorative Echo Conch requires 50 Seashells to make.

Currently, there are twenty Echo Conches that you can find in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. This guide will list where you can find each one and who you need to give it to in order to complete the quest.

Baby Blue Echo Conch
The Baby Blue Echo Conch is located inside a fallen tree to the right of the Hopscotch Islands Fast Travel Mailbox in the Seaside Resort. There are two hills connected by a long fallen log. The Echo Conch is inside the lower (right) end of the log, on the shorter of the two hills.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Cinnamoroll.
Blue Echo Conch
The Blue Echo Conch is found on a ledge on the right side of Mount Hothead, not far below the Caldera. You will likely need to complete the quest “Enraging Ruins” in order to gain access to the Caldera, as it is much easier to glide down from the Caldera then to attempt to climb Mount Hothead.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Chococat.
Blush Echo Conch
The Blush Echo Conch is found in Merry Meadow and requires planting Giant Seeds to reach the Merry Meadow Creation Station. You also need to complete the Quests “Petal Puzzle” and “Beyond the Blooming Door” to make your way through the Merry Meadows Temple to the Creation Station area.
Head south from the Creation Station and drop down one level to a small area with a pond and a Photo Op Nul in it. The Echo Conch is next to the pond.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is My Sweet Piano.
Brown Echo Conch
The Brown Echo Conch is found on a ledge to the left of the left-most Ruins entrance in Mount Hothead. You can either go left from the ruins and drop down or climb the mountainside from the left-most Visitor Cabin on the beach.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Pompompurin.
Cherry Echo Conch
The Cherry Echo Conch is found in Gemstone Mountain. Head northeast from the Gemstone Town Fast Travel Mailbox until you reach Donut Pond, a round pond with an island in the middle. From Donut Pond, glide to the right to reach a small rocky island. Climb the rocks on the right side of the island and the Cherry Echo Conch will be just below the highest point.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Pochacco.
Green Echo Conch
The Green Echo Conch is found in the Spooky Swamp, in the branches of a tree just to the right of Visitor Cabin #3. You may need to stand directly underneath the tree’s branches to be able to pick up the conch.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Keroppi.
Lavender Echo Conch
To find the Lavender Echo Conch, you need access to the Wheatflour Wonderland DLC. This Echo Conch is found halfway up the Floating Ruins, on a floating island with a fountain in the center. More detailed instructions can be found in our Lavender Echo Conch guide.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Cogimyun.
Lime Echo Conch
The Lime Echo Conch is found on Icy Peak. To reach it, you must complete the Quest “Mind the Gap,” which grants you access to the False Peak area. From the False Peak Fast Travel Mailbox, head north and climb up the left-most peak. (If you’re short on stamina, take a Stamina Potion!) The Echo Conch is at the very top of the left peak.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Big Challenges.
Magenta Echo Conch
The Magenta Echo Conch is found in Cloud Island. To reach it, you must have Friendship Level 5 with Lala and complete the Quest “Star Fish,” which unlocks the Cloud Island Ponds area. The Conch is in a tree to the left of the star-shaped pond.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is TOPHAT.
Orange Echo Conch
The Orange Echo Conch is found in the Spooky Swamp. Head to the very end of the raised area on the far right of the Swamp, past the Visitor Cabins and graveyard. On a small slope next to the “Tricky Triangulation” puzzle room is the Orange Echo Conch.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Retsuko.
Pastel Blue Echo Conch
This Conch requires access to the late-game Moon area – check back later for more info!
Pastel Pink Echo Conch
This Conch requires access to the late-game Moon area – check back later for more info!
Periwinkle Echo Conch
The Periwinkle Echo Conch is found on Cloud Island. To reach it, you must hit Friendship Level 8 with Kiki and complete the Quest “Catching a Cloudragon” to unlock the Cloud Island Critter Corral area. In the Critter Corral, head south and west along a chain of floating islands. The Echo Conch is on the floating island with a small pond on it, at the base of a tree.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Wish me mell.
Pink Echo Conch
The Pink Echo Conch is found in Rainbow Reef, on a small rock island above the bottom right corner of the Kelp Maze. You can either swim south from Gemstone Mountain or swim up from the Kelp Maze. You will need the Flippers and Snorkel to claim this Echo Conch.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is My Melody.
Purple Echo Conch
The Purple Echo Conch is found in Gemstone Mountain. From the Gemstone Town mailbox, head northwest until you pass Visitor Cabin #4. Behind the cabin is a narrow gap with some piled stones and cacti where the Echo Conch can be found.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Kuromi.
Red Echo Conch
The Red Echo Conch is located underwater at the border between the Gemstone Mountain and Mount Hothead areas. Dive underwater at the southern point of the Hot Springs to find this Echo Conch resting against a wall. You will need the Flippers and Snorkel to claim this Echo Conch.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Hello Kitty.
Sky Echo Conch
The Sky Echo Conch might have Sky in its name, but it is in fact found in the water! Travel to the Icy Peak Entrance mailbox in Gemstone Mountain and head immediately right to find a small pond. The Sky Echo Conch is in the pond, so you will need the Flippers and Snorkel to grab it.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Tuxedosam.
Turquoise Echo Conch
The Turquoise Echo Conch is found on Gemstone Mountain. Head left from Pompompurin’s Dessert Boat in the Oasis area. On the other side of the lake, there is a small inlet with an island in the middle. The Echo Conch is in the water to the left of the small island.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Hangyodon.
White Echo Conch
The White Echo Conch is another underwater conch. It is located in the Sunken Ship area of Rainbow Reef, on top of some tall pink coral to the left of the ship. You will need the Flippers and Snorkel to claim this Echo Conch.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Badtz-maru.
Yellow Echo Conch
The Yellow Echo Conch is in the Kelp Maze in the Rainbow Reef. It is on the left side of the maze, just south of the entrance. You will need the Flippers and Snorkel to claim this Echo Conch.
The character you need to give this Echo Conch to is Pekkle.
